Presented to the Class in 1986 by Alan Green, then RORC Racing Secretary

and owner of 18/336 ‘Orion’.

He had originally won the trophy, donated by the National Commerce Bank of Greece, at a 1970 motoring event in Greece (Mobil VIP Rally). He donated the trophy in memory of his father Edward Garnet Green, awarded to the best wooden boat at the annual Class Championship.

There will have been a winner in 1993 but the record for that championship at Findhorn is playing hard to get.
